Headteacher

Headteacher, Mr Andrew Reade, was appointed at Easter 2009. He first started teaching in 1991 at a small village school very similar to Hormead. After 5 very happy years he moved to another position in a larger school before taking on a senior management position at a school in Tottenham, London. In 2004 he moved back to Hertfordshire to take up a Deputy Head position before successfully completing his Headship qualification and then accepting the position as Headteacher at Hormead.

His interests are History, which he studied at university, and walking. He also visits the gym several times a week in an effort to keep his middle age spread from spreading further.
