Friends Of Great Hormead School

The Friends and Parents of Hormead School (FPHS) are a group of volunteers who help support their school in a multitude of ways. Working together to create a vibrant community of pupils, parents, staff and friends.

In the past year they have raised about £4,000. This goes towards purchasing resources, helping pay for coaches to and from events or subsidising trips. This year the friends have helped subsidise our trip to the panto, pay for a professional swimming coach, purchase outdoor toys and equipment as well as purchasing new maths and literacy resources.

The FPHS do not only raise money, they also provide a series of fun events designed to help our school develop as a community. This includes childrens disco's, summer fayres and bingo evenings.
